Following the launch of the Razr Fold, Motorola has unveiled the Signature, marking the debut of its new ultra-premium Signature series. The device focuses on high-end materials, flagship performance, and an advanced camera system.
Design and Display
The Motorola Signature features a 6.8-inch AMOLED display with Full HD+ resolution and a 165Hz refresh rate. The panel reaches up to 6,200 nits of peak brightness and is protected by Gorilla Glass Victus 2. It supports Dolby Vision and HDR10+ and carries Pantone Color and Pantone SkinTone certifications for improved color accuracy.
The phone measures 6.99mm in thickness and weighs 186 grams. It also meets IP68 and IP69 standards for dust and water resistance and carries MIL-STD-810H certification for durability. Additional features include an in-display fingerprint scanner, GPS, dual speakers tuned with Sound by Bose, Dolby Atmos support, and three microphones. The Motorola Signature will be available in Pantone Carbon and Pantone Martini Olive color options.
Internals and Software
Powering the Signature is Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 chipset. The processor is paired with up to 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM and up to 1TB of UFS 4.1 internal storage.
The phone runs Android 16 and includes several Moto AI features. Motorola has committed to providing seven years of operating system updates and security patches.
Cameras
The Motorola Signature comes with a triple rear camera setup. The primary camera uses a 50MP Sony Lytia 828 sensor with optical image stabilization and an f/1.6 aperture. It is joined by a 50MP ultrawide camera offering a 122-degree field of view with macro support.
The third rear camera is a 50MP Sony Lytia 600 periscope telephoto lens that supports 3x optical zoom. On the front, the phone features a 50MP Sony Lytia 500 selfie camera with autofocus.
Battery and Pricing
The device packs a 5,200 mAh silicon-carbon battery. It supports 90W wired charging and 50W wireless charging. Reverse charging options include 10W wireless reverse charging and 5W wired reverse charging.
