The district administration of Kasur has announced a public holiday on Saturday, August 23, in connection with the 268th annual Urs of the great Sufi poet Hazrat Baba Bulleh Shah (RA).

As per the official notification, all government departments, schools, colleges, and other local institutions across the district will remain closed on this occasion.
The three-day Urs festivities are scheduled to commence on August 22 and will continue until August 24. Thousands of devotees from different regions of the country are expected to participate in these spiritual gatherings, which will feature recitations, soulful Sufi poetry, and other traditional rituals associated with the event.
