The Punjab government has issued new school timings for all public and private institutions across the province, effective from October 16, 2025, to March 31, 2026.
According to details, single-shift male schools will operate from 8:45 AM to 2:45 PM from Monday to Thursday, while Friday classes will end early at 12:30 PM.
Female schools with a single shift will open slightly earlier, running from 8:30 AM to 2:30 PM during the week and closing at 12:15 PM on Fridays.
For double-shift institutions, morning sessions for male schools will be held from 8:45 AM to 12:45 PM Monday through Thursday and until 12:30 PM on Fridays.
The afternoon or evening shifts for these schools will begin at 1:00 PM and conclude at 5:00 PM during weekdays, with Friday classes held from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM.
Female double-shift schools will follow a similar pattern. Morning shifts will run from 8:30 AM to 12:30 PM from Monday to Thursday and until 12:15 PM on Fridays.
The afternoon or evening shifts will operate from 12:45 PM to 4:45 PM on regular days and from 1:45 PM to 4:45 PM on Fridays.
