Google has officially unveiled its Pixel 10 series at the Made by Google event in New York. The new lineup consists of the Pixel 10, Pixel 10 Pro, Pixel 10 Pro XL, and the Pixel 10 Pro Fold (to be discussed separately).
All models are powered by the latest Tensor G5 processor and ship with Android 16. Notably, the standard Pixel 10 now includes a triple-camera setup and introduces PixelSnap magnetic accessories, Google’s alternative to Apple’s MagSafe.
Design and Display
The Pixel 10 maintains a compact profile with a 6.3-inch Actua OLED display based on LTPS technology. It supports an adaptive 120Hz refresh rate that scales between 60Hz and 120Hz, and reaches 3,000 nits peak brightness. The screen is protected by Gorilla Glass Victus 2, while the device carries an IP68 rating for dust and water resistance. Google retains its iconic horizontal camera bar, which now houses a telephoto lens.

Color options include Indigo, Frost, Lemongrass, and Obsidian.
The Pixel 10 Pro upgrades to a 6.7-inch Super Actua LTPO OLED display with a variable 1Hz–120Hz refresh rate, boosting both efficiency and smoothness. It delivers up to 3,300 nits peak brightness and a sharper resolution with more accurate colors. Its build employs premium materials for a refined feel and comes in Porcelain, Obsidian, and Bay Blue.
The Pixel 10 Pro XL expands the display further to 6.8 inches, retaining the LTPO OLED technology, adaptive 1Hz–120Hz refresh rate, and 3,300 nits brightness. Designed for large-screen users, it offers the sharpest resolution of the lineup, while maintaining Gorilla Glass durability and IP68 protection. The XL model shares its colors with the Pro edition.
Performance and Software
The Pixel 10 features Google’s 3nm Tensor G5 processor, paired with the Titan M2 security chip. It comes with 12GB RAM and offers 128GB or 256GB UFS 4.0 storage. Like its siblings, it runs Android 16 and is guaranteed seven years of OS and security updates.
The Pixel 10 Pro also uses the Tensor G5 and Titan M2, but boosts performance with 16GB RAM. Storage expands to 256GB, 512GB, or 1TB, catering to power users. The added memory enhances multitasking and accelerates AI-driven features such as real-time translation and voice recognition.
The Pixel 10 Pro XL mirrors the Pro’s internals with 16GB RAM and up to 1TB storage, but benefits from improved thermal management thanks to its larger body. Software remains consistent across models, with Gemini AI integration and Google’s latest suite of AI-powered tools.
Camera System
For the first time, the standard Pixel 10 comes with a triple-lens setup:
- 48MP main sensor
- 13MP ultrawide lens
- 10.8MP telephoto with 5x optical zoom
The front camera is a 10.5MP autofocus unit, delivering sharper selfies and improved video call quality.

The Pixel 10 Pro enhances photography with a 50MP primary sensor, a 48MP ultrawide lens, and a 48MP telephoto lens with 5x optical zoom. Google’s upgraded image pipeline now supports advanced features such as ProRes video, Night Sight Zoom, and astrophotography. The front-facing camera also benefits from superior depth mapping for portraits.
The Pixel 10 Pro XL carries the same triple-lens setup as the Pro but leverages its larger body for better heat dissipation during extended video recording. It supports up to 100x digital zoom with AI enhancements, making it the most capable imaging device in the lineup.
Battery and Charging

- Pixel 10: Equipped with a 4,970 mAh battery, it supports 29W wired charging and 15W Qi2 wireless charging. Reverse charging is not available, but it is fully compatible with the PixelSnap ecosystem. Prices start at $799 (128GB) and $899 (256GB).
- Pixel 10 Pro: Slightly smaller at 4,870 mAh, though its efficient LTPO display aids battery life. Charging speeds include 30W wired, 23W wireless, and reverse wireless support for accessories. Pricing begins at $999, with storage options up to 1TB.
- Pixel 10 Pro XL: Houses the largest cell at 5,200 mAh, supporting 45W wired charging and 25W wireless charging, along with reverse wireless functionality. It is priced from $1,199.
