Team India extended their unbeaten streak in the Asia Cup 2025 Super Four stage, securing a convincing 41-run win over Bangladesh at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium on Wednesday.

Opting to bat first, India got off to a blazing start as Abhishek Sharma and Shubman Gill tore into the Bangladeshi attack, piling up 72 runs in the powerplay. Abhishek was the standout, unleashing a series of crisp strokes to set the tone for the innings.

Despite the strong platform, India faltered in the middle overs. A sudden collapse slowed their momentum, with wickets falling at crucial stages. From a commanding 112 for 2 in 12 overs, India could only manage 168 for 6 at the end of their 20 overs.

Chasing a target of 169, Bangladesh needed steady partnerships but failed to sustain any. Their opener provided resistance with a gritty 69 off 51 balls, keeping his team’s hopes alive.
