In a major milestone for Pakistan’s home appliance industry, Dawlance, a leading brand and subsidiary of global giant Beko, has officially exported its first batch of Single Tub Washing Machines from Pakistan to Bangladesh.
A total of 180 units have been shipped in the initial phase, with more exports planned in the coming months. This marks a significant achievement in showcasing Made-in-Pakistan innovation on the global stage.
Local Insight, Global Expansion
The success stems from Dawlance’s deep understanding of Pakistani households, where demand for practical laundry solutions continues to grow. Leveraging these insights, the company has designed products that are both relevant and efficient for daily use.
These innovations were shared with Singer Bangladesh, also a subsidiary of Beko, where the products underwent rigorous testing and received positive validation before being cleared for export.
A Statement of Innovation
“This is not just about exporting a product; it’s about exporting insight-driven innovation. We’re proud to see a Made-in-Pakistan solution find relevance in another market. This is only the beginning of our journey to take local expertise to a global scale,” said Umar Ahsan Khan, CEO of Dawlance.
Strengthening Pakistan’s Global Footprint
The initiative reflects Dawlance’s vision of transforming local expertise into globally relevant solutions, while also boosting Pakistan’s role in regional trade. By focusing on energy-efficient, high-quality appliances, the company aims to expand exports further, creating a positive impact on Pakistan’s economy.
Looking Ahead
The Bangladesh export marks just the beginning of Dawlance’s long-term strategy to strengthen Pakistan’s manufacturing footprint across the region. With increased production capacity and a focus on innovation, Dawlance is set to introduce more products internationally, reinforcing its reputation as a pioneer of Pakistani-made technology.
