Air Arabia’s Pakistan-based joint venture, Fly Jinnah, has announced fresh career opportunities for experienced Pakistani pilots, offering competitive salaries, perks, and long-term contracts.

According to the airline’s official careers portal, several captain and first officer vacancies are open for Airbus A320 aircraft across multiple hubs in Pakistan, including Karachi.

Captain – Fly Jinnah (Pakistan, Multiple Hubs)

Fly Jinnah is recruiting Pakistani nationals as A320 Captains on an undetermined contract. The position involves ensuring safe and efficient aircraft operations, leading crew members, and conducting flights in full compliance with Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) regulations.

Eligibility requirements:

  • Minimum 5,000+ total flying hours (including 500 hrs PIC on multi-pilot turbojet and 200 hrs PIC on A320).
  • Valid ATPL/CPL, Class 1 medical, IR, and English proficiency (ELP > level 4).
  • Preference given to TRI/TRE/LTC trainers and candidates with prior low-cost airline experience.

Salary and benefits:

  • Fixed pay: PKR 1.59m – 2.03m/month (based on experience).
  • Variable pay: PKR 8,000–22,000 per flying hour.
  • Additional perks: housing, medical coverage, conveyance, seniority allowances.
  • Free onboard meals, transport, off-day duty pay, and end-of-service gratuity.

First Officer – Fixed-Term Contract (UAE/Pakistan)

Air Arabia, on behalf of Fly Jinnah, is also hiring A320 type-rated first officers on a 15-month renewable contract. The role includes assisting the captain, managing cockpit responsibilities, and ensuring operational safety.

Eligibility requirements:

  • At least 500 flying hours (A320 experience preferred).
  • Low-cost airline background considered an advantage.
  • Strong knowledge of flight operations, safety protocols, and aircraft systems.

Salary and benefits:

  • During training: Dh12,853/month ($3,500) plus per diem.
  • After line check: Dh20,199/month ($5,500) + Dh275/hr for hours over 60 block hours.
  • Per diem: Dh184/day (approx. $1,500/month).
  • Hotel accommodation, ground transport, laundry facilities.
  • 30 days annual leave and MYID travel benefits after six months.

Captain – Fixed-Term Contract (UAE/Pakistan)

Fly Jinnah, via Air Arabia, is also inviting applications from foreign/expat A320 Captains on a 15-month renewable contract. The role requires full command responsibility, compliance with operational manuals, and mentoring junior flight crew.

Eligibility requirements:

  • Minimum 4,000 flying hours (including 800 hrs PIC on A320).
  • Valid ATPL, Class 1 medical, plus psychometric and technical assessments.
  • Additional training in CRM, safety, and emergency procedures is desirable.

Salary and benefits:

  • During training: Dh20,199/month ($5,500) plus per diem.
  • After line check: Dh27,544/month ($7,500) + Dh404/hr beyond 60 block hours.
  • Per diem: Dh184/day (approx. $1,500/month).
  • Accommodation, uniforms, ground transport, standby tickets, 30 days annual leave, and MYID travel benefits after six months.
